“Generation of weak men” Actor Ime “Okon Lagos” Bishop says a man’s role is “tied to provision and protection” as he slams men who leave their roles for women

The actor, Imeh Bishop Umoh, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has criticized men who neglect their responsibilities and roles in favor of women. He expressed his views in response to a story about a woman who sponsored her partner abroad, only for him to abandon her and marry another woman. Okon Lagos condemned such men as “weak” and emphasized that if a man does not view a woman as suitable for marriage, then he should also not accept her financial support. He stressed the traditional roles of men being tied to provision and protection, asserting that it is not a woman’s duty to fulfill those responsibilities. Okon Lagos urged men to embrace their roles and appreciate it as a privilege when a woman supports them in fulfilling their duties.
