After Atalanta’s victory over Monza, manager Gian Piero Gasperini commended Ademola Lookman for his crucial role in the match.
Lookman contributed with two assists in La Dea’s 2-1 away win on Sunday.
One of his assists came from a corner kick which was skillfully converted by Charles De Ketelaere just before halftime.
He also set up El Bilal Toure for another goal later in the game, showcasing his playmaking abilities.
Speaking to Tutto Atalanta, Gasperini praised Lookman’s standout performance, stating, “El Bilal did well, Charles did well, Lookman did well, who had a truly excellent match.”
Gasparini was impressed with how the team executed their tactics, saying, “They were good; they pressed, played with quality, and put Monza in difficulty.”
Lookman has now accumulated eight goals and six assists from 26 league appearances for La Dea this season.
