Breaking the current Guinness World Record for the longest lecturing time is the goal of a lecturer at the Federal University Oye Ekiti, who plans to deliver a 150-hour lecture.
The existing record is held by Arvind Mishra (India) at Graphic Era University, in Dehradun, India. Mishra lectured for 139 hours, 42 minutes, and 56 seconds from 1 to 7 March 2014. The topic of the lecture was scientific computation.
