Fuel price hike: Singer Korede Bello rides horse, urges Nigerians to do same

Popular musician Korede Bello has found an interesting way to cope with the rising cost of petrol by turning to horse riding as an alternative mode of transportation. Taking to his Instagram page, the ‘Godwin’ crooner shared a video of himself riding a horse on the motorway and encouraged Nigerians to follow suit in response to the surge in fuel prices. In a Pidgin language message, Bello humorously suggested, “I don’t know if you’ve heard. But dem tok say fuel don go up o! Fuel price don increase. If I was you, I will get me one of these [horses]. No gree for anybody o! Dem tok say fuel don cost, go buy horse.” This unconventional response garnered attention and sparked a conversation about finding alternative solutions to the challenge of expensive fuel.
