Fubara expresses support for Tinubu, envisions a great future for Nigeria

In a recent statement, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to leaving a positive impact on the state before the end of his term.

Amid various distractions, the governor emphasized his focus on the goals at hand.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by the people and called for patience, peaceful cooperation, and collaboration with President Bola Tinubu and the state government to shape the desired future for Nigeria and Rivers State.

Speaking at the funeral reception for Sister Inyangette Yobana in Kono, Khana Council Area, Governor Fubara shared his perspective on the current situation. He stressed the importance of unity and resilience to overcome the existing hardships and transition into a prosperous state, setting an example for the entire nation.

The governor’s sentiments were communicated through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, and shared with the press.

He reiterated, “These are challenging times. We must collaborate to build the Nigeria and Rivers State we envision. Patience and peace are crucial as we navigate towards a brighter future, which will elevate our state and earn admiration across the country.”

Emphasizing his dedication, Governor Fubara affirmed, “I am committed to leaving a positive mark on our state. Despite any hindrances, our focus remains unwavering. We prioritize education for our children, quality healthcare for all, and substantial investments in food production.”

Reflecting on the funeral ceremony, Fubara praised the deceased for a life well-lived and urged Yobana to uphold his mother’s legacy for a fulfilling and impactful life. He stressed the importance of integrity and family unity in preserving the heritage left by his late mother.

He consoled Yobana on behalf of the Simplified Movement, expressing solidarity and support during the challenging time.

Addressing the attendees, Governor Fubara highlighted the positive shift in collaboration between local government representatives and the state government, emphasizing unity and support within the community.

During his journey to the funeral event, Governor Fubara encountered #EndBadGovernance protesters, who lauded him for his people-centered policies, reflecting the public’s appreciation and endorsement of his leadership.
