In a thread posted on X, the lady using the handle @AkwaIgboG narrated how she forged a lasting friendship with her friend whom she met in a job-hunting Whatsapp group two years ago. She mentioned relocating to Port Harcourt for a job opportunity, leaving Lagos behind.
While working, she learned about a job opening in Port Harcourt and thought of her Lagos-based friend. She offered to pay for her friend’s flight to attend the interview, and even convinced her boyfriend, Obinna, to show them around the city. Little did she know, her act of kindness would be repaid with betrayal, as her friend engaged in an affair with her boyfriend and became pregnant.
Last week, the lady received a shock when she discovered that another friend had shared photos of her friend’s wedding introduction, where her boyfriend was revealed as the intending groom.
