Former Super Eagles Player Daniel Amokachi’s Unfortunate Experience at T.B Joshua’s Church

Recalling his time at Prophet T.B Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations, former Super Eagles Player Daniel Amokachi shared how he spent weeks at the church hoping for a miracle, but unfortunately, did not receive one.

During an interview with Brila FM, the footballer disclosed that he was seeking healing for a longstanding knee injury prior to the 1998 FIFA World Cup.

“I was at the church on invitation of a friend who is a member. My friend, at that time, told me about the man of God and that I could meet my miracle if I met with the Pastor.”

“At first, I wasn’t giving to it, but I later agreed and flew down to Nigeria from England to see the Pastor.”

“I slept by the church’s altar for several weeks to receive healing. I was not healed, but I saw lots of miracles that happened to people.”

Following his time at T.B Joshua’s church, Amokachi’s football career came to an end after he failed a medical test upon signing with 1860 Munich.

The 47-year-old former forward had an illustrious international career, representing Nigeria at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups, and was a member of the 1994 African Cup of Nations-winning team. He also achieved success as a member of the Atlanta 1996 Olympic gold-winning squad.
