Former Newcastle United coach suggests Mark Robins as potential Man Utd manager

Alan Pardew, the former Newcastle United coach, has recommended Mark Robins as the next potential manager for Manchester United in case they part ways with Erik ten Hag by the end of the season.

Erik ten Hag is currently facing immense pressure at Manchester United due to the team’s performance this season, with rumors suggesting his departure at the end of the season.

Various top managers, such as Thomas Tuchel and Zinedine Zidane, have been rumored to be in contention to replace the former Ajax coach.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Pardew stated:

“I have a suggestion for you. Ready for it? He may not have international experience, won the Dutch league, or the French league.

“He’s a former player of yours who had a remarkable four seasons, almost defeating you in the semi-final – Mark Robins.

“There you have it. Bring him in. I assure you, he will deliver.”

Mark Robins was associated with Manchester United for eight years, from 1984 to 1992.
