Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna Central, emphasized the importance of ensuring justice is served for the mastermind behind the 2022 Kaduna-Abuja train kidnapping. He expressed satisfaction upon hearing about the arrest of the individual responsible for the heinous act.
The police confirmed the apprehension of the mastermind linked to the tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train in March 2022. The suspect, identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known by the alias Mandi, was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer in Kaduna, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
ACP Adejobi revealed that the suspect was involved in other criminal activities, including the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021.
Reacting to the news, Shehu Sani expressed his thoughts on X, stating, “It is both satisfying and laudable to hear about the Nigerian Police successfully apprehending the perpetrators of the 2022 Kaduna Abuja Train kidnappings. These individuals inflicted harm, causing loss of life and destroying the futures of others. Justice must prevail.”
