Legendry midfielder Cesc Fabregas has shared his prediction for the upcoming clash between Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League. He believes that Arsenal will surprise everyone by defeating Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Fabregas is of the opinion that Guardiola will opt for an attacking lineup against the Gunners.
In a previous meeting between the two clubs, Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory at the Emirates, courtesy of Gabriel Martinelli’s goal.
Speaking on the Planet Premier League podcast, Fabregas, a former Arsenal captain, remarked, “I believe Pep [Guardiola] approaches games consistently, always aiming to win with an offensive strategy, regardless of the opponent.”
He continued, “Arsenal understands what it takes to beat Manchester City, having already achieved it. This forthcoming match will be intriguing and a major test for Arsenal to gauge their current standing in the league.”
Expressing his confidence in Arsenal’s capabilities, Fabregas stated, “I anticipate they will exceed expectations as they are performing better than many presume.
“Taking into account the factors such as current injuries and uncertainties surrounding both teams, my prediction leans towards an Arsenal victory with a scoreline of 2-1.”
