First Virtual Federal Executive Council Meeting Scheduled for Wednesday with President Buhari and Ministers

It is anticipated that the Federal Executive Council will convene its initial virtual session on Wednesday, May 13.

The FEC, which serves as the highest decision-making body of the Federal government, had its most recent meeting on March 18. This gathering was suspended as part of the measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.

While the majority of Ministers and Heads of parastatals will join the virtual meeting from their respective offices, the President will be accompanied by a few aides in his office or the Council chambers where he will preside over the meeting.

Prior to the virtual meeting on Wednesday, the Minister of Communications, Dr. Isa Pantami, has been leading a team of officials from his Ministry to ensure a smooth meeting.
