The Chairman of the COVID-19 Taskforce in Imo state, Professor Maurice Iwu, confirmed that the state has recorded its first Coronavirus death on Wednesday, June 10.
Professor Iwu stated that the deceased had underlying health issues before being brought to the isolation centre, which complicated his chances of survival.
As of Wednesday, Imo state had 83 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
