Femi Adesina: Buhari’s Negative COVID-19 Test Result a Cause for Joy

President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, Femi Adesina, has confirmed that his leader tested negative for COVID-19 following the positive diagnosis of his Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari.

Femi Adesina shared this during a media briefing at the state house in Abuja today, March 25th. In his statement,

”That calls for celebration. Anyone who tests negative deserves our joy, and anyone who tests positive, it’s not a death sentence. We will also join in prayer and offer our goodwill to those affected, and they will certainly come out of it.”

He also refuted claims that certain media outlets have been banned from covering activities within the state house.

This confirmation follows Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s negative test result after self-isolating due to possible exposure to the virus.

It was earlier reported by LIB that Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria on Political Matters, confirmed Osinbajo’s negative test result after a medical examination.
