A Nigerian female Engineer expressed her disappointment after being turned down for a job by a female Managing Director.
As per @StephanieTagbo, she was rejected for the job because the female Managing Director did not want someone getting pregnant in the middle of a project.
She tweeted;
So, I was supposed to go for an interview today for a project management role. But they canceled because the MD (a woman) found out I’m a lady. Reasons: she wants a male, doesn’t want a woman getting pregnant amidst the job.
It must be really hard being a woman
