FCT to release seven COVID-19 patients

The Federal Capital Territory Abuja is preparing to release seven COVID-19 patients as their confirmatory tests have returned negative.

 

This announcement was made by FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello.

“Since the first case of COVID-19 in the FCT, I have been regularly updated on the patients’ condition. I am pleased to announce that the initial group of 7 patients is ready to be discharged after testing negative,” he stated.

 

He also expressed confidence in the imminent recovery of the remaining 39 patients in isolation.

“Furthermore, our dedicated medical staff are exerting their utmost efforts to ensure the recovery and discharge of the remaining 39 patients. We cannot express enough gratitude for their tireless efforts, and we will continuously support and encourage them.

Let me also remind our residents that the FCTA is fully committed to combating this pandemic. We are allocating all necessary resources to effectively contain the virus and safeguard the welfare of our people,” the minister affirmed.
