Emerging as the top scorer in the 2023/24 Nigeria Women Football League, Ijamilusi Folashade has clinched the prestigious title of Player of the Season for FC Robo Queens.
Outshining contenders such as Oladipo Shukurat, Ogbuchi Chidinma, Adeyemo Fasilat, and Ndubuisi Esther, Ijamilusi secured the award with a staggering 70 percent of the fan votes.
Throughout the NWFL season, Ijamilusi netted a total of nine goals for the Lagos-based club, solidifying her position as the leading scorer.
Despite their commendable efforts, Robo Queens fell short of securing a spot in the NWFL Super Six playoff, finishing in fourth place in Group A.
