Farmers/Herdsmen crisis: NSCDC’s agro-rangers display how they will tackle criminals in Oyo state (video)

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has concluded plans to send some of its personnel to Oyo State to protect farmers and herders.

The security agency on Tuesday, February 2, held a mock exercise where its personnel displayed their military tactics which they hope to use in fighting criminal elements when they get to Igangan. The crisis between the herdsmen and the farmers took a different dimension last week when a Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho, gave the Fulani community in the area a quit notice.
