Eze-elect of Abia praises Otti as a Model for Nigerian Leadership

The governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, has been hailed as an example of leadership for all Nigerian governors by the Eze-elect of Nkwoachara autonomous community in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, Eze Nwandu Nduka Onuoha. Speaking during the 2024 Nkwoachara Day celebration, Eze Onuoha urged governors from other states to visit Abia and learn from Otti’s governance style, praising the governor’s achievements during his tenure.

Eze Onuoha expressed his admiration for Governor Otti, stating, “With what Otti is doing in Abia State, one day, the state will soon be competing with Dubai.”

In his remarks, Eze Onuoha emphasized the unity and development initiatives he plans to implement as the eze-elect of Nkwoachara autonomous community. He also extended a hand of friendship to his competitors and vowed to work together for the community’s progress.

Dr. Onuoha pledged to prioritize unity, care for the vulnerable, and enhance local markets within the community. He advised the state government on the selection of traditional rulers, emphasizing the importance of consulting with local advisory councils to prevent the appointment of unsuitable candidates.

Former President-General of the community, Engr. Okechukwu Nwafor, encouraged the eze-elect to exceed expectations and emphasized the community’s support for his reign. Additionally, High Chief Egbule Nkwoala highlighted the community’s history and expressed confidence in the new traditional ruler’s abilities.

The community youth leader, Chukwuemeka Chilaka, assured the monarch of the youth’s backing for his success. The celebration featured traditional dances and other cultural activities.
