According to a report from NewsNow, Ikorodu City has successfully secured the services of Rivio Ayemnwere from Sporting Lagos.
Following Sporting Lagos’ relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Ayemnwere made the move to the Oga Boys.
This transfer marks Ikorodu City’s first signing of the summer, adding depth to their squad.
Ayemnwere has wasted no time and has already begun training with his new teammates in preparation for the upcoming season.
In their inaugural top-flight game, Ikorodu City will go up against the formidable Kano Pillars, four-time NPFL champions.
The new NPFL season is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, August 31st.
