According to recent reports from NewsNow, Victor Ozor Okeke, the former Golden Eaglets midfielder, has officially joined the ranks of Swedish club Elfsborg, the reigning champions of the Allsvenskan league.
Elfsborg made the move to secure the young talent from Triple 44 Academy in Nigeria.
At just 18 years old, Okeke has committed to a five-year contract with the club.
His standout performance at the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana two years ago played a significant role in capturing the attention of Elfsborg.
Notably, Okeke is now the second Nigerian player in Elfsborg, joining Ibrahim Buhari who has already established himself as a key player within the team.
Currently, Elfsborg holds the fifth position in the Swedish Allsvenskan standings, showcasing a promising start to their season.
