According to new reports from NewsNow, Akudo Esther Ogbonna is now a part of the Swedish club IFK Kalmar.
Ogbonna’s transfer to IFK Kalmar marks her transition from the Nigerian Women Football League team, Remo Stars Ladies.
Upon her move, the former Nigerian youth international inked a one-year deal with the Elitettan side.
This opportunity will not only be Ogbonna’s European debut but also her first stint playing in Europe.
At her new club, Ogbonna is set to sport jersey number 18.
Today, which is Friday, she will be formally introduced to her new teammates.
