Exciting News: New Coach on the Horizon for the Super Eagles, Reveals Sports Minister Enoh!

Delivering good news to fans, Sports Minister John Enoh has disclosed that a fresh head coach is set to be selected for the Super Eagles ahead of the commencement of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers set for next month.

After Finidi George’s resignation in June, the coaching position was left vacant, sparking anticipation for a new appointment.

The Super Eagles’ upcoming engagements include matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda in the opening fixtures of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers in September.

The three-time African champions are gearing up to welcome the Cheetahs at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 7.

Shortly after, they will lock horns with the Amavubi at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

During an appearance on the Channels TV program “Politics Tonight,” Enoh hinted, “The appointment is imminent and will be revealed sooner rather than later.”
