One of the key projects includes the refurbishment and transformation of a section of the Kano State Library into an office complex for the Ministry of Transport and the offices of Special Advisers to Governor Abba Yusuf, with an allocated budget of N268,160,455.84.

“This renovation is set to create modern, practical workspaces, thereby boosting the effectiveness of government operations and service delivery,” Dawakin emphasized.

Moreover, he shared, ”The council also gave the nod for the relocation, reinstallation, and enhancement of the Golden Jubilee Monument at Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Bridge along Emir’s Palace Road, with an estimated cost of N164,949,693.46.”

Dawakin added that the infrastructure revamp also encompasses the “Laterite filling of a 2-km road from Riga to Karkari in Gwarzo LGA (N43,382,210.10), revalidation and approval for outstanding payment for the construction of Dangote female hostel, and landscaping at the Kano State University of Science & Technology, Wudil,” alongside other initiatives.
