A talented player from the Golden Eaglets, Akinkunmi Amoo, has started his trial period at Neftchi Baku, a football club in Azerbaijan.
After parting ways with Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia in March, Amoo has been on the lookout for a new team.
His contract with Omonia Nicosia was terminated due to personal reasons, as disclosed by the club during his departure.
Now 21 years old, Amoo aims to revitalize his career by securing a permanent contract with Neftchi Baku.
Prior to this, the winger has had experience playing with Swedish club Hammarby IF and Danish team Copenhagen.
Amoo was a valuable member of the Golden Eaglets squad that competed in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Brazil.
