The spouse of 50 years of the former Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation, Sir TC Okere, was reportedly stabbed to death this morning, leading to Sir TC Okere being on the run.
According to reports, the tragic incident took place in Imerenwe in Ngor-Okpala council area of Imo State.
The deceased wife was a retiree of the Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo.
Details surrounding the alleged murder by the former head of the state media company are currently unknown.
Mr. Orlando Ikeokwu (SP), the spokesman of the Imo state police command, has confirmed the incident and stated that the police will soon commence an investigation into the matter.
He stated: “It is true that the former Director-General of the state-owned broadcasting corporation TC Okere allegedly stabbed the wife to death this morning and the command will soon commence an investigation into the matter.”
