Environmental Infractions Lead to the Seal of Church and Other Establishments in Lagos

In the Lekki Phase I area of Lagos State, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has taken action against several establishments for not complying with state environmental laws.

On Friday, the state Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, shared this information in a post on X.com.

Wahab emphasized, “LASEPA’s action highlights its dedication to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible environment.”

These establishments, including Kingfisher, Red Lagos, Logic Church, and Bolivar, were sealed for not following environmental regulations despite receiving prior warnings, according to Wahab.

He also stated that the agency is taking action to enforce environmental laws and address noise pollution issues.

In August, the Lagos State Government also shut down Landcraft Industries Nigeria and Word of Light Christ Ministry (Camp of Light) for offenses related to noise and environmental pollution.
