Eniola Ajao, the actress, explains why she protects her 21-year-old son from social media exposure

The decision to shield her 21-year-old son, Ayomide Daniel, from social media was a deliberate choice made by Nollywood actress, Eniola Ajao.

Ajao revealed that this decision was made long before her foray into the world of movies, with the intent of avoiding the stigma associated with being a single mother.

She stated, “It was something I decided a long time ago before I even considered pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.”

“When I had him, I worried that no man would want to marry me with a child, so I decided to keep it private. I kept many aspects of my life out of the public eye, including my son,” the actress shared during a recent interview with Seun Oloketuyi.

Ajao expressed her concerns about how disclosing her son’s existence might impact her chances of finding a partner.

She later revealed her son’s existence to the public after being perceived as a “young girl” by her colleagues.

In a prior incident, Ajao received attention when controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, was named the ‘best dressed female’ at her movie premiere in March.

The resulting public backlash prompted the actress to issue a public apology, clarifying that it was merely a publicity stunt.
