Enhancing Food Security: Rahamaniyya Fertiliser Emerges as the Best Choice – Satish Rathore

With the growing demand for food security in Nigeria, experts emphasize the necessity of utilizing improved farm inputs in order to sustain quality food production.

According to experts, one crucial farm input is the quality of fertilizer used in agricultural practices.

In an interview with NewsNow, Satish Singh Rathore, the Managing Director of Rahamaniyya Fertiliser Plant, assured Nigerians that the company’s fertilizer stands out as the best option presently available in the country. Here are the excerpts:

DP: Can you introduce yourself, sir?

I am Satis Singh Rathore, the Managing Director of Rahamaniyya Fertilisers, and I possess 25 years of experience.

DP: What types of fertilizer does the company produce?

At Rahamaniyya Fertilizer, we produce NPK 20:10:10 and NPK 15:15:15 fertilizers, both of which are widely recognized and favored by farmers for various crops.

Our goal at Rahamaniyya Fertilizer is to manufacture high-quality fertilizers for farmers. In the production of NPK, we utilize urea, DAP, MOP, and limestone. Our limestone is a raw material and we have our own products for its preparation, ensuring its purity. The Nigerian government has approved NPK 20:10:10 and NPK 15:15:15 as the best fertilizers in the country. Our commitment is to provide farmers with top-quality fertilizers. Purity is a key factor, as the elements in the fertilizer, such as Urea, DAP, MOP, and limestone, must be pure.

Presently, there are numerous variations of limestones available in the market, but after testing in our laboratory, we can confidently say that our limestone is the top-rated in the market. We invite others to come to our plant, inspect our limestone granules, and verify the quality we utilize. Our pure ground limestone is devoid of dust and mud, ensuring 100% purity, which ultimately leads to higher profits for farmers. Our entire team is dedicated to this objective.

DP: What is the scope of the project?

We have two NPK production lines, each with a capacity of 60MT per hour, totaling 2,818 MT per day. Moreover, we have a limestone plant with zero dust, ensuring the purity of our fertilizer. We already have one commissioned limestone plant, and the second one is nearing completion. Once completed, we will be able to operate four plants simultaneously.

DP: What is the annual production capacity?

Our blending capacity is 1,028,570 MT per annum. Additionally, our limestone capacity is 40MT per hour, which translates to a daily production of 800MT. This project is the first of its kind in Nigeria due to its significant capacity, making Rahamaniyya Fertiliser one of the largest and highest-capacity plants in the country.

DP: How does Rahamanniyya fertilizer differ from other fertilizer plants in Nigeria?

In Nigeria, there are several fertilizer plants, including Dangote and Indorama, but what sets Rahamaniyya Fertiliser apart is the comprehensive nature of our fertilizer. While other plants produce only urea, we blend our fertilizer, encompassing nitrogen, ammonium phosphate (DAP), phosphate (MOP), potash, and limestone. This unique blend makes our fertilizer stand out.

DP: Can Rahamanniyah fertilizer eliminate Nigeria’s dependence on imported fertilizers?

Yes, Nigeria’s dependence on imported fertilizers can be reduced significantly. With abundant phosphate and limestone available in Nigeria, coupled with our domestic production of urea, and future production of phosphate, Rahamanniyya Fertiliser’s quality and capacity can meet the needs of the Nigerian market, making it unnecessary to rely on imports.

DP: How does Rahamanniyya fertilizer benefit farmers?

Our product’s superiority lies in its quality. While other fertilizers in the market contain a considerable amount of dust and mud, our fertilizer is free from these impurities. Choosing Rahamaniyya Fertiliser automatically provides farmers with added benefits, as one bag of our product equals the effectiveness of four bags of other fertilizers.

DP: What is your message for your competitors?

We have two blending lines, each with a capacity of 60MT per hour, totaling 2880MT. Our limestone granules, which are dust-free, expand our capability even further. We invite potential buyers to see the quality of our limestone firsthand at our plant.
