A group of Nigerian actors has given their endorsement to Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
During a conference with the theme “South West Stands with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,” actors and actresses voiced their support for Tinubu’s potential candidacy for the presidency of Nigeria.
Notable personalities such as comic actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, Harry B Anyanwu, and Foluke Daramola, along with other Nollywood actors and actresses, were present at the conference.
The focus of the conference was the inauguration of the Southwest Committee for the former Governor of Lagos State.
It is important to note, however, that Tinubu has not officially declared his interest in running for the office.
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Davido has sparked attention on social media due to his appearance at his birthday party in Ghana, where he seemed visibly intoxicated.
The birthday celebration for Davido took place last night at the Elite bar in Accra. Upon arrival with his crew, Davido appeared to be eager to enjoy the event.
During the party, Davido was observed standing still and quietly observing the proceedings, displaying minimal signs of interaction or enthusiasm.
