Emphasis on Diligence by Alia to NYSC Members


The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, shared a message with the Batch ‘A’ stream II outgoing members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the state, urging them to uphold diligence and ensure they accomplish their purpose.

During the passing out parade of the Batch ‘A’ Stream II held at the NYSC Orientation Camp Wannune, Alia praised the Corps members for their display of good behavior and high level of dedication.

He acknowledged their skill in interacting harmoniously despite their diverse backgrounds.

Encouraging them to maintain diligence in executing their tasks, Alia reassured them of the measures in place to guarantee their security and well-being in the state.

Furthermore, the governor pledged to continue providing N15,000 to all Corps members and N100,000 to those who are medical professionals in the state.

During an earlier visit, the governor noticed the severe erosion damage at the camp and immediately instructed the construction of drainage systems.

He lauded the NYSC Benue State Coordinator, Mr. Abe Ashumate, the Management Team, and other camp officials for their commendable leadership and support towards the Corps members.
