A touching moment occurred when a Nigerian fan met his favorite celebrity, Toyin Abraham, at the cinema and couldn’t contain his emotions.
Toyin has recently premiered her highly anticipated movie, Malaika, which is now being screened in cinemas across Nigeria. An ardent fan of hers had gone to the cinema to watch the movie, unaware that it would become one of the most memorable days of his life.
The man’s wife, who shared the emotional experience, revealed that she had arranged the surprise knowing her husband’s deep admiration for Toyin. She disclosed that her husband is an avid fan of the actress and has watched all her movies without fail.
At the cinema, the man had the chance to meet Toyin, who embraced him warmly, leading to an outpouring of tears from him.
“I took my husband to watch the movie, not even knowing the storyline. But whenever it’s from world best [referring to Toyin Abraham], my husband must watch it,” the wife shared on her social media. “To think this movie speaks more about us as we are still praying to God, I can really relate with the whole thing. And boom, my husband meets world best, he cried, he laughed, and enjoyed himself.”
This is not the first time Toyin has had such moving encounters with her fans.
Earlier this year, she reminisced about meeting a devoted fan, Adeola Awokoya, during the premiere of her 2022 movie, Ijakumo. Adeola had been a fervent supporter of Toyin and had actively promoted the movie.
During a meet and greet at the cinema, Toyin and Adeola were reunited, leading to a heartfelt exchange of tears. Toyin expressed how this encounter was a significant moment for her, highlighting the impact she has on her audience.
Toyin also reacted to a viral interview where her die-hard fans jokingly stated they would cancel their marriage introductions for her. She laughed it off and teased her husband about paying another dowry.
