Emir of Rano confers traditional title to the man who trekked from Katsina to Kano in celebration of Governor Ganduje's victory at Supreme Court

The conferment of a traditional title by the Emir of Rano, Alhaji Tafida Ila, to Nura Aliyu Batsari, the man who recently trekked from Katsina to Kano in support of Governor Ganduje, has garnered significant attention. The 33-year-old, who hails from Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State, embarked on the 172km trek to celebrate Governor Ganduje’s election victory at the Supreme Court and his accomplishments.

Nura Aliyu Batsari had publicly declared his intention to walk from Katsina to Kano if Governor Ganduje’s election triumph was upheld by the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He expressed his unwavering support for the Governor and his remarkable achievements.

Upon his arrival in Kano, Nura was warmly received by Kano Deputy Governor, Alhaji Nasiru Gawuna, and Hon. Abubakar Yahya Kusada, the lawmaker representing Kankia/Kusada/Ingawa Federal Consistency. Governor Ganduje expressed delight at Nura’s gesture and acknowledged the young man’s commendable show of support for his administration.

Governor Ganduje further announced plans for a grand official reception to honor Nura Aliyu Batsari for his dedication and support.
