Tesla CEO Elon Musk has shared the joyous news of the birth of their first child with his partner, the musician Grimes.
The couple has welcomed a son, marking this as Elon’s 6th son. It would have been his 7th, but he tragically lost one of his sons to SIDS.
Grimes, at 31 years old, gave birth to their first baby on Monday, May 4. Elon, aged 48, revealed this momentous occasion to his 33.6 million Twitter followers.
The tech mogul had previously excited fans with the revelation that the pair were “A few hours away!”, hinting at the imminent arrival of their child.
Just four hours later, he confirmed the birth and tweeted, “Mom & baby all good.”
When asked for a photo of his child, he shared a photoshopped image of the baby with a fake tattoo on his face.
“Never too young for some ink haha,” Elon wrote.
When asked about the baby’s name, he wrote: “X Æ A-12 Musk.”
As Twitter users extended their congratulations to the couple, Elon shared a photo of himself with his newborn son.
