Ellen DeGeneres suspends The Ellen Show production due to coronavirus fears

The Ellen DeGeneres Show has decided to suspend production until the end of March as a precautionary measure against the ongoing threat of the coronavirus.

Host Ellen DeGeneres took to her Twitter page on Friday night to announce the news.

“Hey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy. I love you guys, and can’t wait to come back. I’m already bored.” DeGeneres tweeted.

This decision comes after the announcement that the show would follow the lead of other popular shows by cancelling live audiences amidst the coronavirus outbreak.
