Yahaya Bello, the previous governor of Kogi state, has been officially declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The allegations against Bello pertain to economic and financial crimes.
On Thursday, the EFCC shared a notice on its official Facebook page regarding this matter.
An excerpt from the notice stated, “The EFCC is in search of former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, concerning economic and financial crimes amounting to N80.2 billion.
Anyone who has information on his current location is urged to immediately contact the EFCC or the nearest police station,” as per the notice.
