During the coronation ceremony, Eze Aro advocates for true federalism and the release of Kanu

At his coronation in Arochukwu, the paramount ruler of Arochukwu kingdom, known as Eze Aro the 9th, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Eberechukwu Kanu Oji, urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to adopt true federalism and free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

Eze Aro emphasized the importance of inclusivity, fairness, and justice in the Nigerian federal system, calling for the recognition of the Igbo people’s contributions and cultural heritage. He envisioned a Nigeria where all ethnic groups, especially the Igbos, can prosper and actively contribute to national development, fostering unity and peace.
