Disappointment for Nigerian Athletes at Paris 2024 Olympics


At the 2024 Olympic Games, Rosemary Chukwuma of Team Nigeria fell short of making it to the final of the women’s 100m event.

Chukwuma struggled in the semi-finals, ultimately finishing in the last position.

Despite starting the race strongly, she was unable to maintain her initial pace.

In the men’s shot put final, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi of Nigeria placed fifth with a throw of 21.42m, missing out on a podium finish.

The gold medal in the event was secured by Ryan Crouser of the USA, who threw a distance of 22.90m.

American athlete Joe Kovacs claimed the silver with a throw of 22.15m, while Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell took the bronze with the same distance.
