Delta gov appoints Harrysong as executive assistant

The appointment of Harrysong as the Executive Assistant on Entertainment to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has been confirmed. The Nigerian singer, also known as Harrison Tare Okiri, expressed his gratitude to the governor for the appointment and promised to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of his new role. He announced upcoming events such as the ‘Kingmaker’ on March 30th and the Sherrified and Ukodo International Festival 2024, stating that he officially assumed the position on December 22, 2023. Additionally, he assured Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the state’s residents that he would make good use of the office entrusted to him. Harrysong also acknowledged other musicians like Iyanya, Richard More Damijo, Onyeka Onwenu, Mercy Johnson, and Dayo Adeneye who have taken on governmental roles and highlighted his own rise to fame as a singer and songwriter. The singer shared the news of his appointment on Instagram and expressed his appreciation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
