Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has revealed that he is building a new mansion for himself and his wife, Chioma Rowland.
In an interview with the famous American TV program, Drink Champs, Davido revealed that he has a new house under construction.
According to the singer, he is building a Carribean Mexican-themed mansion for himself and Chioma. Davido added that the house is at Eko Atlantic.
“The new house that I am building for me and my wife, it’s called Eko Atlantic. It’s going to be like Carbon Mexican themed. It’s on water”.
Speaking on the best state in Nigeria to make housing investment, Davido said, “Real Estate right now, I would say Lagos. People are building dope houses. It’s also very good in investment”

Elsewhere in the interview, Davido had crowned Imo, the state with the most beautiful girls.
The award-winning singer made this known in a recent interview on Drink Champ.
When asked where the most beautiful girls in Nigeria are from, Davido excitedly stated that they are from his wife, Chioma’s state.
“The most beautiful girls in Nigeria are from Imo State, where my wife is from”.
Davido traditionally weds Chioma
Kemi Filani reported in November that Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding following the loss of their son.
Gistlovers blog alleged that the singer secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death.
The traditional wedding which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed.
The traditional wedding was held on November 6th, to console Chioma and assure her of her place with Davido.
Davido pays Chioma’s bride price in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state
In January, Davido finally paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state.
The singer had paid in full to Umunna group in Owerre, Nkworji Ezeala ofu Nkwerre Local government area in Imo State.
In photos and videos posted online, Chioma’s dad could be seen performing the Umunna rites and Umuada rites.
Months after their wedding, photos from their court wedding surfaced online in celebration of Chioma’s birthday.
The newlywed were seen wearing white outfits, with their family members and close friends gathered around them.
The ceremony seemed to have taken place at Davido’s father’s house in Lagos.
