David West, Suspected Port Harcourt Serial Killer, Appears in Court with Salvation Ministries’ ‘5 Nights of Glory’ Tag

Appearing in court on Friday, January 18, Gracious David West, the suspected Port Harcourt serial killer, had the Salvation Ministries’ ‘5 Nights of Glory’ tag with him.

 

However, his murder trial was delayed due to the absence of his counsel, Vincent Chuku, who was supposed to continue the cross-examination of prosecution witnesses.

The State Prosecution Counsel, Chidi Ekeh, and Lezina Amegwa, Counsel to the 2nd Defendant identified as Nimi ThankGod, informed the court that all efforts to reach Chuku were unsuccessful.

Justice Adolphus Enebeli instructed that the hearing notice be served to Vincent Chuku before the next adjourned date, and stated that he cannot withdraw from the case on his own. The case was then adjourned until January 24.
