The government has been alerted to a potentially hazardous open manhole on Idumota bridge through a video shared by Nigerian singer Darey Art Alade. The uncovered hole poses a serious threat to lives as there are no warning signs and it leads directly into the Lagos Lagoon. Darey tagged the official Twitter account of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos state governor, in his call for attention to the issue. The video clip depicting the manhole has also been made available for viewing.
