Cross River APC to Stage Solidarity March Against Protesters

Alphonsus Eba, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, announced on Wednesday that the party has obtained a police permit to organize marches in all 196 political wards of the state as a counter to the ongoing nationwide protests.

Speaking to journalists at the APC Secretariat in Calabar, Eba revealed the party’s plan to conduct marches along specific routes in Calabar for a period of 14 days.

He outlined that party officials and registered members will also participate in similar marches in their respective local governments and wards starting from August 1st.

“Our solidarity marches aim to support the achievements of Mr. President and our esteemed state governor, which have brought about positive progress and development for Nigerians,” Eba stated.

He added, “Any individuals who may be misled will be dealt with by the security agencies and directed towards psychiatric facilities or other appropriate care homes.”
