COVID19: Delta State Government Extends Sit at Home Order by Two Weeks

The Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has announced a two-week extension of the sit-at-home order in the state.

The order, which was initially enacted on April 1st, was set to expire today, April 14th. In a state broadcast this morning, the governor stated that the extension was necessary for the identification, isolation, and detection of cases.

“It is for the public good and interest in our health. I urge all Deltans to cooperate with us,” he said

Delta State has three confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with one death.
