The announcement of a discharged COVID-19 patient in Osun has been confirmed by the Osun state government. During his press briefing on April 5, the state governor, Adegboyega Adetola, made this announcement.
According to a statement released on the government’s verified Twitter handle, the discharged patient is among the early cases of Coronavirus in the state. The announcement came during the Press Briefing of Mr Governor on Sunday, 5th April, 2020.
As of April 5, Oyo state has 9 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, contributing to a total number of 224 diagnosed cases in Nigeria.
