The arrival of an ambulance in Ikotun, Lagos, to transport patients was captured on video by a resident. The video shows the man visibly shaken as he records the ambulance evacuating “four patients.” In the video, he underscores the seriousness of the situation by repeatedly stating, “Coronavirus is real,” and urging people to take it seriously. It’s worth noting that while one of the medics accompanying the ambulance had a face mask on, they didn’t have gloves or coveralls, which are necessary for handling COVID-19 patients.
