A mere eight-year-old when he first donned the Chelsea jersey, Gallagher proceeded to leave his mark with 95 appearances for the Premier League outfit from the west of London.
Having recently inked a five-year contract with Atletico Madrid, the 24-year-old midfielder took to Instagram to express his reverence for his time wearing the revered Blues’ shirt.
“I am immensely grateful to everyone at Chelsea for transforming my aspirations into tangible moments,” Gallagher conveyed on his Instagram account.
“Each instance I wore the jersey was a privilege, and to lead the team on numerous occasions was truly a dream realized. I cherished every single moment,” he added.
