Following host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s revelation on Sunday’s live show, tensions escalated between the Big Brother Naija Season 9 duo Wanni X Handi and Rhuthee, almost resulting in a physical altercation.
During the live broadcast, Ebuka questioned Rhuthee about her previous remark labeling Wanni as “selfish and stingy.”
Rhuthee defended her statement, indicating that while Wanni may be possessive with her food, she is generous in sharing with others.
The fallout from this revelation led to a heated exchange between Rhuthee and the twin sisters, Wanni and Handi, with the situation nearly escalating into a physical confrontation before other housemates intervened.
Amidst the confrontation, Rhuthee boldly confronted the twins, challenging them with the words, “If you have the guts, mention my name.”
In response, Wanni X Handi defiantly chanted Rhuthee’s name and taunted her, asserting their dominance.
After being prevented from coming to blows by fellow housemates, Wanni expressed her perspective to Handi and Kassia, accusing Rhuthee of attempting to incite a fight for publicity.
Wanni remarked, “Rhuthee is seeking drama, hoping for a fight to boost her presence, but I refuse to engage.”
She continued, “Her anticipation of being the subject of eviction suffices for me. She tends to overanalyze, and I can sense her anxiety building up.”
