It has been confirmed by the Ekiti State Government that there are 4 new cases of Coronavirus, making the total number of active cases in the state five.
These new cases are reported to be primary contacts of the 4th recorded case, who is a medical doctor that performed surgery on a late Coronavirus patient.
While the doctor is currently receiving treatment, the newly confirmed cases are currently stable and asymptomatic. They have been transferred to the State’s Isolation Center in Ado-Ekiti.
