The Federal government has confirmed the emergence of five new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, increasing the total number of individuals with the virus in the country to eight.
Announced by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, the three of the affected individuals arrived from the United States of America, including a mother and child, while the other two arrived from the UK. Additionally, four cases were identified in Lagos, with one case identified in Ekiti.
