Collaboration between D7G Nigeria and DICON to Provide Job Opportunities for Retired Military Personnel

Creating employment opportunities for 2000 civilians and 500 retired military personnel, D7G Nigeria, a manufacturing company, announces its partnership with the Defence Industry Corporation of Nigeria.

During an event held in Abuja last Friday, Osman Chennar, the CEO of D7G, mentioned that the collaboration with DICON aims to facilitate the transfer of advanced military technology to Nigeria.

In his statement, Chennar emphasized, “D7G Nigeria is committed to carrying out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in Nigeria and across Africa, particularly focusing on the transfer of advanced military technology to Nigeria.”

Providing insights into the company’s achievements, Chennar highlighted key milestones such as the establishment of a Military Jetty base in Lagos designed for vessel berthing, along with ample space allocated for the production, assembly, and storage of defense equipment, spanning an area of 160,000 square meters.

Additionally, the company has set up the first production and assembly factory in Africa catering to naval military ships, drones, armored vehicles, and UAVs. It has also initiated operations for assembling, repairing, and maintaining helicopters on the continent, as well as handling semi-knockdown and completely knockdown parts. Moreover, the company is committed to producing 300 million rounds of ammunition annually.
